About me
Hi there! Here is a little section about myself, who I am, what I like to do and such. I was born in Oxfordshire in the early 2000s to a loving couple from Liverpool. I have two older biological and one older step-sibling. Near the end of my primary school time, my family moved to North-mid Wales, where I completed primary, and then secondary school.
For college, I travelled around 3-4 hours to get to and from home from Wrexham Yale College, where I studied Art & Design, Classical Civilisation and Welsh 2nd Language. There I met my 3 best friends with whom I am still very close today.
After completing college, I was left wondering what I wanted to do. I knew that I didn’t want to go to University, leaving me in debt and having a degree I probably wouldn’t end up using. (Also not keen on the party scene). So when my brother recommended trying out for a digital marketing apprenticeship, I jumped into the research and after a few applications, Grayce invited me for an interview!
To say that I was nervous, was an understatement! I had my first interview ever in a video meeting and ended up going for the next stages including an in-person interview. Only to find out that I had missed a part of the email where it said I had to do a presentation (oh no!!), even though they said it didn’t matter and not to worry, I spent hours that evening creating a presentation on Hiking that I promptly sent over the next morning.
Thankfully, they got back to me not a week later to say that I got the job!
I have always been creative and following in my mother’s footsteps, I dedicated hours of my time to illustration. My Mom loved to paint, especially in watercolours, and I also love watercolours, I took up digital art in 2016, and that is the medium I primarily work in today. Along with my creative work, I also love reading, piano playing, creative writing, sailing, hiking, mountain biking and athletics. I have also recently in the past few years taken up animation, but drawing scenes is still my passion.
